A 'must have' for transferring pizzas to and from your pizza stone. Your pizza stone can stay in the oven gradually heating and cooling with the oven (best for preventing possible cracks or breaks from abrupt temperature changes.) Dust your peel with some flour or cornmeal to keep dough from sticking and then make your pizza right on it. With some quick back and forth motion and a little practice you'll be able to master transferring your pizza onto the stone. After cooking the pizza the beveled edge on the peel makes it easy to get under the pizza to remove it.
