Georgia’s Blood Orange Chocolate Cake
This
dlectiable brownie cake is the edasiste chocolate cake I have ever made! An absolute chocoholic’s delight, this fudgy
bundt cake’s secret ingredients of olive oil and balsamic vinegar make it
deliciously moist. Topped with a silky
smooth chocolate ganache, this is a quick and easy recipe that you will make
again and again!

Ingredients
- Cake
- · 1 box chocolate cake mix
- · 1 box fudge brownie mix
- · 4 eggs
- · 1 ¼ cups water
- · 1 cup Blood Orange Olive Oil
- Ganache
- · 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- · 1 bag (12oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 4 tbsp Raspberry Balsamic Vinegar
Directions
Cake Instructions:
Heat oven to 350®. Grease bundt pan with a drizzle of Blood Orange Olive Oil. Combine first five ingredients in a large bowl and whisk for 2 minutes or until lumps are mostly gone. Pour batter into prepared bundt pan and bake for 45-50 minutes. When done baking, remove cake and allow to cool in pan for up to 5 minutes. Carefully turn cake out onto a cooling rack and cool for 30 minutes more.
Recipe Note
Ganache Instructions:
Place heavy whipping cream in a large microwave-safe bowl and heat for about 2 minutes. You want the cream to be just boiling. Carefully pour chocolate chips into cream. It may rise and bubble. This is okay. Let sit for 5 minutes. Whisk the chocolate and cream until shiny and smooth, for about 1 minute. Finally, add the Raspberry Balsamic gradually and whisk until combined. Do not add the balsamic vinegar all at once because the balsamic vinegar could curdle your cream. Pour over cooled cake and server. Garnish with raspberries, if desired.
