Our Story

Title

With over 20 years of combined experience in retail goods, luxury home decor, and custom furnishings, two friends dreamed of creating something truly special. In 2016, they purchased The Hen House on Grand Ave in Spencer, Iowa, a local favorite for luxury home goods and unique gifts. Driven by a love for quality and a passion for flavor, they expanded in 2022 to introduce high-quality extra virgin olive oils, vinegars, and gourmet goods—bringing a whole new layer of elegance to the store. Every item in The Hen House reflects their commitment to enriching homes and celebrating the art of fine living.
