Pickle Grab is a fast-paced, high-speed dexterity party game distributed by Asmodee and created by the makers of Exploding Kittens. The game focuses on rapid reflexes, physical coordination, and quick card observation.
Gameplay Mechanics
- Setup: A plastic jar sits in the center of the table. A flat plate is balanced on top of the jar, and a large foam pickle toy is balanced on top of the plate.
- The Loop: Players take turns flipping cards face up from their personal decks.
- The Race: If a matching Pickle Card is flipped over, the active player must rush to grab the foam pickle. At the exact same time, the remaining players race to snatch the plate out from underneath the pickle.
- The Penalty: Snatching the plate causes the unsupported foam pickle to plummet directly into the jar. Slow players or individuals who grab at trick cards lose cards from their hand.
- Winning: The chaotic loop continues until one player runs out of cards; the person who has accumulated the most total cards wins.
