Sponge Silk

Silk sponges have traditionally been used for cleansing delicate areas of the face (around eyes and mouth, for example). In modern times they have found a niche as easy to clean, reusable tools for removing makeup. Traditionally a resource of the Mediterranean Sea, they are now harvested in the Gulf of Mexico and off the Bahamas.
